The flocculant reacts with pollutants such asphosphorus and BOD and precipitates as flocs sinkingto the bottom of the septic tank. FilterBAGA Easy contains a filter through which all wastewater must pass before reaching the drainfield.The filter guarantees that the outlet is completely freefrom sludge or particles. The filter is an important partof the process as sludge or particles will affect thebiological process negatively.Drainfield / reinforced infiltration or bioTankInside the drainfield, constructed using BAGA Bio-Modules, a biological purification process occurs. Anadequate amount of oxygen is required in order toget an efficient biological purification. Here oxygeneis fed to the drainfield through ventilation pipes to thebioModules.The tubular form of the BioModules enables an easypassage for oxygen and acts as a carrier for the bac-teria necessary for the reduction process.The load on the drainfield will stay low as phosphorusand BOD has been significantly reduced in the septic tank. Sludge and particles are stopped in the filter from reaching the drainfield resulting in a higherreduction of nitrogen compared to a conventionaldrainfield.BacteriaThe outlet from the drainfield, infiltration or bioTank will be of bathing water quality or better. Large volume sludge compartmentThe sludge compartment of BAGA Easy has a considerably larger volume than conventional waste water plants. The sludge volume for the 1 household model is 2 m3 requiring the sludge compartment to be emptied only once a year. EnclosureEasy maintenanceThe simplicity and lack of peripheral equipment makes BAGA Easy very simple to use. Low power consumptionNormally, conventional water treatment plants utilizecomponents such as pumps and fans, constantly consuming electrical power. BAGA Easy only uses one pump, consuming power only when the plant is in use. The simplicity of the construction reduces the power consumption to a few kWh per month. When the plant is not in use, the power consumption is zeroReliableSimplicity also renders reliability. BAGA Easy uses only one pump making it very reliable. SilentEvery waste water plant uses oxygen in the biologicalpurification process. Conventional plants use a fan that is constantly running and therby produces noise. BAGA Easy needs no fan as oxygene is supplied through the bioModules, making it completelysilent and reducing power consumption to a mini-mum.Advantages5The automation enclosure is folded during transportation in order to save space. Indication systemA green light on the automatics housing indicates that the system is running. If a malfunction should occur the indication light switches to red. Remote PLC control system (F-SMS) The plant will be monitored by BAGA through theF-SMS control system. You will receive text messag-es regarding the status of the plant directly to yourmobile phone, for instance when the flocculant needs to be refilled, continously monitoring the functions of the plant. Water samplesIn the tank there is a hose for water samples for testsof the water quality. Automation enclosure with flocculation tankThe enclosure is fitted to the septic tank on delivery but can be placed up to 30 m from the plant. This requires extentions of electric cables and flocculant dosage hose. For 3 - 6 houshold models the floccu-lant container is integrated in the septic tank.Extension of the septic tank neckIf required the neck of the tank can be extended using an extension tube. The septic tank can be cov-ered up to 2 meters.PumpningThe water is pumped from the septic tank to the the drainfield or bioTank using a PEM hose, making it possible to place the draifield upstreams or at a dis-tance from the septic tank. This makes the placing of the drainfield easier.AgreementsA service or support agreement must always be signed with BAGA.Support agreementDue to the simplicity of use, the support agreementconsists of a user control program, telephone sup-port, remote PLC control system (F-SMS) and a guarantee of processes. Less maintenance.Operating costsThe operating costs of BAGA Easy installed in a rec-reational facility is about 25% of a conventional plant.Waste water plant without drainfield or infiltrationIf it´s not possible to install a drainfield or infiltration we recommend the BAGA Kompakt line.Reservoir / pumping stationThe reservoir is used to compensate for large varia-tions in the incoming flow of sewage water. The water is pumped to the water plant, providing a constant and even load for the septic tank it´s treat-ment equipment and the following drainfield or infiltra-tion, which increases the biological purification. The reservoir doubles as a pumping station as it is equipped with cutting sewage pumps, making it possible to place a long distance from the plant. BAGA bioTank is a glassfibre tank con-taining bioModules. The water in the bioTank is recir-culated through the bioModules in order to establish a high degree of nitrogen reduction. Sludge particles formed in the tank are automaticly pumped back into the septic tank.The water outlet from the bioTank is now of bathing quality. No special measures considering the water groundlevel has to be taken as the tank is completely watertight. The bioTank is easily placed and only requires a small amount of space compared to a drainfield. To achieve a high degree of purification, the supply of oxygene is impor-tant. This is solved by placing ventilation tubes in each end of the line of biomodules. In combination with the tube formed mesh construction of the bioModules, air can easily flow through the system. A biofilm of over 300 m2 is naturally formed on the surface of one package of bioModules for one household.
