VAUCHÉ SA 17-19 boulevard Gambetta 08200 SEDAN 03 24 29 03 50 – 03 24 27 44 06 www.vauche.com – vauche@vauche.com BAL Flow entrance Fines exit Hollows and 3D exit Flats and 2D exit BALLISTIC SEPARATOR The function of this separator is to ensure the separation of a flow into a mix, in 3 fractions : The majority of the flat bodies and the 2D advance and go up to the top of ballistics The bottle manufactures and the 3D rebound and fall to the bottom of ballistics Fines pass through the holes of the plates and are recovered under the equipment Depending on their weight, shape and size, the ballistic separator sorts urban wastes or industrial wastes derived from selective collection (ex : cardboard, paper, boxes, plastic bottles, metal …), by means of oscillating blades along an orbital trajectory. In particular, the « flat bodies » are separated from the « rolling » bodies. Synthetic view of the separator : The ballistic separator is a multi plates type. The set consists of two crankshaft shafts / bearing boxes, on which perforated blades are mounted. This mechanical assembly is set on a square movement by 2 motor reducers: each blade has therefore a level shift from those located on both other sides. The mechanical assembly is entered in a sheet metal box mounted on a axis of articulation and two systems for the adjustment of the slope. This ballistic separator has a variable slope to adjust to the evolutions of the flow (0 to 20 degrees). The separator plates are activated by 2 rod-crank trees put in rotation by motor reducer. It is equipped with aeraulic assistance.
