MAKING WATER TREATMENT MORE EFFICIENT Increasing efficiency of ETPs & STPs Naturally LOCAL AND BENEFICIAL MICROBES IN WASTEWATER Wastewater is cleaned by Microbes: In any wastewater treatment plant, actual cleaning takes place with the help of microbes. The plant is responsible for removing bio-solids and creating the right environment for these microbes (MLSS) to work. All we do is enhance this cleaning process - naturally. This is done by adding beneficial and natural microbes (NatureVel - WW) into the plant and giving them an environment to proliferate. NatureVel - WW in turn enhances the population of existing yet beneficial microbes to grow, thereby making the cleaning process more e?cient. This process of ‘augmenting’ the population of beneficial microbes is called ‘Bio-Augmentation’. Aspidisca cicada: These crawling  ciliates  are  found  in  large   numbers  when  the  bacterial   popula5on  and  DO  levels  are  high   and  the  wastewater  environment  is   stable.  They  indicate  a  stable   wastewater  environment  and  a   healthy  sludge. Protozoa  are  microscopic,   unicellular  organisms.  They  are   found  in  large  numbers  in  the   ac5vated  sludge  process.  Protozoa   perform  many  bene?cial  roles  in  the   treatment  process,  including  the   clari?ca5on  of  the  secondary   e?uent  through  the  removal  of   bacteria,  the  ?occula5on  of   suspended  material  and  as  bio-­- indicators  of  the  health  of  the   sludge. Chilodonella  uncinata:  Free-­- swimming  ciliates  are  found  in  large   numbers  when  the  bacterial   popula5on  and  dissolved  oxygen   concentra5on  of  the  treatment   process  are  rela5vely  high.  If  free-­- swimming  ciliates  are  present  as  the   dominant  protozoan  group,  this   could  indicate  a  wastewater   environment  that  is  not  yet   stabilized  and  a  sludge  that  is   intermediate  in  health NatureVel - WW: The most advanced organic certified biotech product for carrying out wastewater treatment. SL # DETAILS TO BE CHECKED ACTION STEPS TAKEN 1 System  Feasibility:  We  check  whether  the  plant  can   be  taken  up  for  bio-­-augmenta5on  or  not.  Number  of   parameters  like  BOD:  COD  ra5o,  F/M  ra5o,  HRT  etc   are  checked A  simple  format  is  sent  to  the  client  to  ?ll  up  both  inlet   and  outlet  parameters.  If  required,  a  plant  visit  is   carried  out  at  the  cost  of  the  client. 2 Iden5?ca5on  of  workforce:  We  prefer  to  carry  out   bio-­-augmenta5on  on  a  monthly  contract  basis.   We  examine  whether  the  exis5ng  workforce  can   manage  bio-­-augmenta5on.  If  not,  then  we  hire  local   people  to  manage  the  plant  for  us.  Rigorous  training  is   given  to  the  manpower  selected.   3 Design  Modi?ca5ons:  Many  5mes  we  ?nd  that  the   plant  underperforms  due  to  a  variety  of  reasons  like   design  fault,  mis-­-management,  missing  parts  in  the   plant  etc.   We  advise  our  clients  on  what  steps  to  take  to  make   the  exis5ng  plant  more  e?cient  through  simple  design   modi?ca5ons.   4 Staring  of  Bio-­-augmenta5on  process:   Dosage  points  are  iden5?ed,  quantum  and  periodicity   of  dosage  is  handed  over  by  us  to  the  selected   manpower.  Mul5plica5on  tanks  and  substrate  to   mul5ply  NatureVel  -­-  WW  are  purchased  and  work   starts. 5 MIS  (Management  Informa5on  System):  is   established.
