The carriage is made of two superposed independent frames with high stability. Headblocks are mounted on the upper frame, assuring a perfect headblock alignment during the time. The cutting axis can rotate and adjust according to log conicity. The right cutting position is found through frame rotation and not through log positioning. Dogs clamping and unclamping controlled by oleo dynamic cylinders.
