Cartridge filter with compressed air cleaning system with collection bin. The cartridge filters part of the modular range conforming to the ATEX 94/9/CE directive have a filtering surface area spanning between 40m2 to 160m2. The filter cartridges operate in depression. The dusty air containing the dust waste particles is conveyed into a pre-chamber which promotes settling and the heavier particles by force of gravity fall into the collection bin below. The lightweight particles are filtered by the cartridges and the air is then expelled into the atmosphere. The cartridges are backwashed by jets of compressed air and controlled by a cyclic sequencer.
