Furthermore, Tour Operators require from Hotels to offer the highest level of quality and safety. It has therefore become essential for hotels to implement the ISO 9000 series and HACCP quality standards in order to ensure immediate acceptability in the European and global market environments. HOTEL QUALITY SYSTEMS The key requirement of implementing and maintaining quality and safety systems is the calibration of the hotel equipment at regular intervals. An indication of equipment that Hotels calibrate: - Refrigerators and Freezers (kitchens, storage, displays, etc.) - Thermometers (Chef’s, buffet, maintenance etc.) - Balances, Dish Washers, Hot water Systems, Multimeters, pH meters etc. RELIABLE CALIBRATION SERVICES With Hotels having to place greater emphasis on quality, confidence in measurement is paramount. The experience of the highly qualified professional staff, along with a state-of-the-art Laboratory enables GlobeTech Laboratories to meet customer’s requirements and conforming to the most exacting standards. ACCREDITATION & QUALITY POLICY GlobeTech Laboratories is the first Calibration laboratory in Cyprus that is Accredited* to ISO/IEC 17025 by RvA with accreditation certificate No K131. The fully environmentally controlled Laboratory, which is supported by mobile units, is equipped with primary standards of high accuracy and operates in accordance with the international specifications set out by the guidelines of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001. TRACEABILITY OF MEASUREMENTS Hotels must demonstrate traceability of their measurements in order to conform to ISO 9001 and HACCP systems.
