CALIBRATION SERVICES FOR LABORATORIES GlobeTech Laborator i es Ltd aim is to substantially support the state's effort in developing the activity of Metrology in Cyprus whereas at the same time to offer its clients high quality services and complete solutions to their calibration and testing problems. It is our target to offer professional services that will result to the upgrading of the quality and eventually competitiveness of our customers in Cyprus and the global market. With Cyprus soon becoming a member of the EU, it is mandatory for Laboratories to conform to European and/or international standards. Furthermore, Laboratories are required to offer the highest level of quality. It has therefore become essential for Laboratories to implement the ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 quality standards in order to ensure immediate acceptability in the Local and European market environments. LABORATORY QUALITY SYSTEMS The key requirement of implementing and maintaining such quality systems is the calibration of the laboratory equipment at regular intervals. Some of the equipment that Laboratories calibrate among others are Balances, Verification Weights, Thermometers, Temperature loggers, Incubators, Autoclaves, Glassware, Sterilizers, pH meters, conductivity meters etc. RELIABLE CALIBRATION SERVICES With Laboratories having to place greater emphasis on quality, confidence in measurement is paramount. The experience of the highly qualified professional staff, along with a state-of-the-art Laboratory enables GlobeTech Laboratories to meet customer’s requirements and conforming to the most exacting standards. ACCREDITATION & QUALITY POLICY GlobeTech Laboratories is the first Calibration laboratory in Cyprus that is Accredited* to ISO/IEC 17025 by RvA with accreditation certificate No K131. GlobeTech policy in accordance with its Quality Manual is “To continuously improve and upgrade the organisation, its procedures and the professionalism of all the company's personnel so that the services provided are of the highest quality standard offered at the lowest possible cost”. The fully environmentally controlled Laboratory, which is supported by mobile units, is equipped with primary standards of high accuracy and operates in accordance with the international specifications set out by the guidelines of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001. TRACEABILITY OF MEASUREMENTS Laboratories must demonstrate traceability of their measurements in order to conform to ISO 9000 and ISO 17025 systems. Therefore calibration services from accredited laboratories must be obtained.
