HISTORY OF INNOVATION Evans Components was started in 1992 when Bob Evans created the High Purity Ball Valve, replacing costly Diaphragm and Bellows Valves then being used for non-process gases. Since then Evans has built its reputation as an innovative supplier of CFOS gas system products for the Semiconductor, Flat Panel, Photovoltaic, and related industries. From its beginnings with the Ball Valve, to the introduction of High Purity Manifolds and Hook-up Components, Evans has consistently created value through new design and development of products, creating a steady stream of cost savings and quality improvements to help our Customers achieve their goals. From the Tank Farm to the Tool, and for all your non-process gas systems, Evans offers cost effective, Innovative Solutions to satisfy the exacting requirements of the Industries we serve. VALVES FOR THE TANK FARM Six, Eight, or even Ten and Twelve-inch Valves for transporting gas from the Tank Farm to the Fab is no problem, Evans provides these large Ball Valves with the same Purity and Leak Integrity Specifications found in our smaller Valves. ISOLATION VALVES Evans offers a full size range of High Purity Isolation Valves, and a variety of End Caps to meet the differing requirements of our customers. Tubing, Pipe, JIS, Compression, all come as End Cap options on the Evans High Purity Ball Valve. Purge Ports and Purge Valves can also be purchased as additional options. INTEGRATED VALVES AND MANIFOLDS Evans first introduced the High Purity Integrated Ball Valve to our customers in 1995 by close coupling the Evans Ball Valve with a short stretch of tube. This new integrated design improved end product quality, and at the same time reduced customer cost and time of installation. Today Evans has gone a step farther, and, together with Dockweiler AG has brought to our customers The Manifold. Manifolds are twenty foot, or six meter, lengths of tube, with close-coupled Evans High Purity Ball Valves attached along the tube at customer-designated intervals. Designed as sections of a Lateral, Manifolds are shipped CFOS cleaned, leak tested, and ready for direct installation within the customer’s non-process gas systems. This new design and method of construction has once again improved product quality and saved customer time and money. As example, a twenty foot Manifold with four valves attached will eliminate between eight and twelve welds in the field, and by eliminating much of the cutting, facing and field fit-up of individual fittings and components, tremendous savings in time and waste material is realized too. Third Party qualification is simplified as well. PL-HP CFOS SYSTEMS, THE WELD-FREE OPTION The PL-HP Series of products represents a new advancement in the way customers can construct their non-process gas systems. From half-inch to two-inch, for Ball Valves, Manifolds, Integrated Valves and Hook-Up Sticks, Evans now offers a weld-free method for constructing Laterals, installing in-line Ball Valves, and running Tool Hook-Up lines. Our new tube-size coupling is the first of its kind in the marketplace, and together with the Evans Pressfit Tool it brings significant savings of time and resources to our customers. Integrated into the PL-HP components and manifolds, Evans’ new weld-free coupling is ideal for those Fast Track projects where time is such a critical factor. And because they have a leak integrity of at least 1 x 10-8 scc/second, the PL-HP group of products represents a new state of the art, and an excellent alternative to traditional welded methods. TOOL HOOK-UP Evans also offers a complete line of components for Tool Hook-Up. One or Two-Piece Mini-Ball Valves for Isolation, ranging in size from ¼” - ¾”, come standard with Compression Outlets or can be special ordered with VCR Couplings. And our innovative G-Stick and E-Stick Hook-Up components set the standard for design and efficiency. By integrating Isolation, Regulation, and Pressure Indication into one component, the Evans G-Stick improves the quality and reduces the cost of traditional Hook-Up assemblies. The G-Stick’s small foot print and innovative Unistrut Mounting Bracket also saves precious space within today’s modern facilities. Two, sometimes three, G-sticks can fit comfortably into the space occupied by a single traditional assembly. The Evans E-Stick, which integrates Isolation with Pressure Indication, follows the same model of quality improvement and cost reduction as the G-Stick, and incorporates the same innovative mounting bracket to reduce the space needed.
