Due to its horizontal axis design and reduced size, it is easy to integrate in a chip treatment installation. The working principle consists of a repetitive cutting process of the chips between the mobile blades (attached to the axis) and the lateral fixed ones, until the size of the chip is smaller than the size of the defined holes of the inner grille which determines the final size of the chips.
