The today internationally active company was founded in 1978 from the American corporation Ransburg Corporation, today better known under the name ITW Ransburg.

OFRU Recycling mens abbreviated " Oberflächentechnik Ru ssau". In the 1970s OFRU not only developed one of the first vacuum evaporators but was also instrumental in making the well-knowndistillation technology for flammable liquidsknown on the German market.

The family-owned company has long been based in Babenhausen and since May 2015 has had its new headquarters in Alzenau, in the north of Bavaria, on the edge of the Rhine-Main region.

Our team of experts in Alzenau is constantly growing. We employ several chemical and process engineers in Alzenau, some of whom have a doctorate in designing your solvent recovery plant.
