Wastewater Resources Inc. 9318 N. 95th Way, Suite 102, Scottsdale, Arizona 85258 Office: 480.391.9939 Website: www.h2oreuse.com Wastewater Resources Inc. (WRI) is an original equipment manufacture of wastewater reclamation and advanced treatment systems. Since its inception in 1988, WRI has advocated the continuous reclamation, treatment, and reuse of treated wastewaters to create sustainable water supplies. All of our installed advanced water purification (AWP) plants reclaim, clean, and recycle or reuse millions of gallons of treated wastewater daily, saving clients millions of dollars each year while minimizing discharge into the environment. Our expertise is providing clients with highly automated wastewater reclamation and advanced treatment solutions for challenging industrial process water, municipal water & wastewater, and marine wastewater. This expertise was developed over two decades through meticulous engineering, as well as trial and error. But one thing we have always done – delivered eco-friendly reclamation and recycling systems to compliment our unparalleled advanced wastewater treatment plants. Randall J. Jones founded WRI in 1988 to develop a nanofiltration membrane to purify brackish water common to the Western US. Pilot work conducted by the University of Arizona’s Water Resources Center was the foundation of early WRI projects to recover potable water from wastewater. In the late 80’s, Randall patented our first AWP plant to reclaim, treat and recycle laundry graywater. In 1994, we were selected by Black & Veatch and the City of Scottsdale to construct an Advanced Treatment Pilot Complex for the City. This 75,000-gallon per day system was the primary pilot unit for the City's 14 million gallon per day facility. Today, the pilot plant is used in the Gainey Ranch water treatment complex in Scottsdale. Eco-friendly wastewater reclamation & treatment systems since 1988 COMPANY STORY Keeping our water clean. OUR MARKETS In the late 90’s, Randall patented an AWP plant using advanced oxidation technologies to reclaim, treat, and recycle cooling tower water. At the same time, we began using advanced membrane, ultraviolet, flotation, clarification, separation, and batch reactor technologies, allowing us to expand into industrial process water, municipal water and wastewater, and marine wastewater applications. OUR EXPERTISE Municipal Water & Wastewater Market. We offer water and wastewater reclamation and treatment solutions for convention municipal water applications. A second municipal offering is our new sustainable community utility solution (SCUS) – distributed, renewable water, wastewater, and energy systems. These standalone utility systems are designed for masterplanned communities, remote communities and industrial plants, and military bases that require renewable AWP plants and power systems driven by solar, wind, tidal, and fuel cell energy sources. Strategic partners in SCUS projects are Black & Veatch and Chevron Energy Solutions. marine wastewater applications. Industrial Process Water Market. We serve clients with challenging metal plating, microprocessor, textile, paint and coating, and coal, oil & gas water. We offer four AWP plants – AquaTex™ HS, AquaTex™ LLD, AquaTex™ SBR and AquaTex™ COG to the industrial market. Our newest product for coal, oil & gas (COG) water, AquaTex™ COG, reclaims, treats, and recycles frac and produced water. AquaTex™ COG is available on a fixed-based or mobile treatment platform. Our industrial clients include ConocoPhillips, Alcoa, General Dynamic, Kyocera, Technicolor, the US Navy and Army, and many other brand names. OUR HISTORY AquaTex ™ COG reclaims, treats and recycles frac and produced water at the wellhead, in storage pits or at local water plants. Wastewater Resources Inc. 9318 N. 95th Way, Suite 102, Scottsdale, Arizona 85258 Office: 480.391.9939 Website: www.h2oreuse.com Navalis Orion® System SYSTEM AUTOMATION Marine Wastewater Market. Navalis Environmental Systems, LLC, a subsidiary of WRI, offers patented wastewater reclamation and treatment solutions to megayacht, ferries, and commercial, cruise, and naval ships. The Orion® and Poseidon®, our two marine sanitation devices (MSD’s), incorporate state-of-the-art mechanical/chemical technologies rather than traditional biologically-based technology. Both Navalis MSD’s are Coast Guard Certified and have produced effluent with contaminant levels less than required by the stringent Alaska Cruise Ship Standards. Our first clients are the US Navy and Royal Caribbean. Since the 1980’s, we have been an industry leader in automated control and monitoring. Every AWP plant we manufacture is equipped with a state-of-the-art control panel with the latest Allen Bradley PLC technology – a user-friendly color touch screen for programming and monitoring, and full reach-back capabilities to the corporate office. Whether influents are from gas wells, industrial plants, or cruise ships, we lead the industry in system automation and software technologies. Strategic partners are critical to any company’s success. We pride ourselves on the corporate partners that support our company and its planning, engineering, and manufacturing operations. We have worked hard to develop these quality relationships so our clients may benefit from the best talent in the water industry. Here are three of our key strategic partners: Keeping our waters clean Serving industrial, municipal & marine water & wastewater markets STRATEGIC PARTNERS Australian Water Recycling Institute (AWRI) – AWRI was formed to bring innovative water recycling technologies to Australia from the US. AWRI’s directors have over 20 years experience delivering water reclamation and treatment solutions to the water industry but saw the need to capitalize on WRI’s ingenuity. Australia is experiencing unprecedented growth in water recycling demand, so AWRI became our exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand. In turn, we are the exclusive manufacturer of AWP plants for AWRI. AWRI is now well-positioned to provide advanced treatment products to Australia’s industrial, municipal, and marine markets. Black & Veatch (BV) – With 9,600 employees in 100 countries worldwide, Black & Veatch is a leading architectural, engineering, consulting, and construction firm. Founded in 1915, BV specializes in infrastructure development in telecommunications, energy, water, federal, and environmental markets. Recently, BV Water joined us in a ConocoPhillips engagement to design a fixed-based AWP plant for produced water at a CBM gas field and jointly study a comprehensive water management model for the COG Market. Caid Industries (CI) – Founded in 1947, Caid is an important design and fabrication partner. Located in Tucson, AZ, Caid offers design/build, fabrication, manufacturing, and field erection services. It works with stainless steel, titanium, and duplex steels, as well as structural fiberglass, copper, plastics, and mesh. The two companies are expanding their partnership to jointly complete the design/build process and engage Caid in more fabrication work so we can focus on growing its business. Keeping our waters clean. WRI is a valuable business resource qualified to solve your water challenges, while enabling clients to: ? Comply with environmental regulations ? Reduce production and process costs ? Protect human and corporate assets and ? Maximize their return on investment. THE WASTEWATER RESOURCES PLEDGE
