Tank Construction
The reservoirs are constructed by erecting precast and prestressed concrete wall panels on a reinforced in-situ concrete foundation base. The panels are then postensioned circumferenially with greased and PVC coated super strand in PVC ducts. When postensioning is complete a reinforced concrete upstand ring beam is cast on both sides of wall panel at the junction of panel and foundation base.
