BENEFITS OF THE COOL PREPCompact / / Por tab le / / Easy to opera te env i ronments vanairsystems.comCool Prep Portable Air Treatment Skid After-cooled & filtered compressed air for portable jobsThe Cool Prep delivers after-cooled and filtered compressed air for portable jobs. Each Cool Prep skid features a convenient plug and play design, consisting of an air-cooled after-cooler with a pneumatic fan motor, bulk moisture separator, and coalescing filter. The Cool Prep reduces the harmful effects of liquid contaminants. Cool Prep skids are designed for use with 185 through 400 CFM portable compressors, in cases where a Blast Pak air dryer is not an economic solution. Water is a normal result of air compression. The air compressor draws in and concentrates atmospheric humidity. When air leaves the and cools, water vapor condenses to liquid. A 185 CFM diesel compressor operating on a warm humid day can produce more than 10 gallons of liquid water per eight hours of operation. This liquid damages air tools, contaminates blast pots and spoils paint finishes. The Cool Prep removes a substantial portion of entrained water through condensation, separation and filtration.Note: The Cool Prep is not a dryer. It substantially reduces the presence of liquid but does not deliver a dew point suppression. For critical abrasive blasting and painting applications where no liquid can be tolerated at the point-of-use, a Blast Pak dryer must be used. The Cool Prep is ideal for• 185-400 CFM diesel air compressors• Low-cost protection of small blast pots• Construction sitesFEATURESAir-cooled after-cooler with air motorMoisture separatorOil-removing coalescing filterRugged structural skid2950 Mechanic Street, Lake City, PA 16423, USA | Toll Free Phone 800-840-9906 | Corporate Fax 814-774-0778 | Order Entry Fax 814-774-3482Distributed By:Cool Prep-0213/VAS©2013 Van Air Systems vanairsystems.comSTANDARD EQUIPMENT• Air-cooled after-cooler• Air motor, with regulator and lubricator• Moisture separator, with manual drain• Oil-removing coalescing filter, with manual drainOPTIONAL EQUIPMENT• Automatic drain valves• 12V DC motor for model FA-250• Structural skid• Four lifting lugs• Fork lift pockets• Primer and enamel paintingDIMENSIONS & SPECIFICATIONS Air Motor A B C Consumption In/Out Flow Rating WeightModel No. in cm in cm in cm SCFM Conn.
