INSERT LOWER TUBE – the Slip Lock coupler is pre-lubricated, however, you may need to lubricate the O-rings prior to inserting the lower tube into the coupler. Notice the notch in the lower tube. This notch will seat on a post inside the coupler so that the thumbscrew lines up with the hole in the bottom tube. Insert lower tube fully and rotate tube until seat is engaged on post. Tighten thumbscrew to secure the bottom tube to the coupler.
