High-intensity 19mm UVC(254 nm) quartz lamps and high-outputelectronic ballasts paired with anodizedaluminum parabolic reflectors make theCrystal Coil series incredibly effective.Anodized aluminum parabolic reflectorsare able to direct virtually all the UV energyonto the coils. Reflection is required todirect the UVC energy where it is neededmost. Using any other type of reflector willresult in losing more than half the UV intensity. Besides increasing UV exposure,the reflector also protects plastics andwiring from destructive UV rays installedbehind reflector.The crystal coil is designed to be installedon either side of an evaporator coil or fancoil (the preferred installation is facing thecoil on the upstream air entering side)destroying and preventing mold and othermicrobial growth.The Crystal Coil is available in 12", 18", 24", 30", 40", 50" and 60" lamp lengths.
