This multifunctional tool combines a Hydraulic Cutting Unit with a bucket system that is capable of on-site excavating, cutting, and crushing in a single operation, eliminating the time consuming and expensive need to change tools. The Cutter-Bucket is ideal for use in road and pipeline construction. Besides keeping vibration to a minimum and guiding the cutting unit accurately, the Cutter-Bucket also makes it possible to immediately crush excavated material to be reused or reinstalled on the construction site.Additionally, materials of any consistency ranging from mud to rock can be conditioned. In this process, any rock encountered will be crushed depending on size and hardness. The Cutter-Bucket is also an ideal tool for soil mixing and can be fitted with reagent injectors for in-situ treatment of contaminated soils. The major advantage is that there is no longer the need to change tools, resulting in enormous cost savings in the key areas of machinery, transport, labor and waste disposal.
