The interiorlinings are made of premium grade vinyl-ester corrosionlayers. Each scrubber is provided as a monolithic unitwith all appurtenances attached and/or included. Multi-stage, skid mounted systems are also provided tofacilitate quick and simple installation. Flanged inlets,stacks, mist eliminators, access ports, lifting and tie-downlugs, packing, recirculation pumps, nozzles, PVC piping,pressure gauges, flow meters, pH/ORP sensors andanalyzers, and chemical metering pumps are but a fewof the specialty components included. Applications range fromabove grade low pressure ductwork to filament woundburied pipe designed to H-20 live load calculations.Round sizes range from 4” to 168” in diameter.Custom-sized rectangular duct and related fittings maybe manufactured using core materials and compositestiffeners to achieve required structural integrity.Fittings include round and rectangular elbows with longand short radii, transitions, flanges, end caps, tees, wyes,and laterals. Strict adherence to the accepted ASTM,RTP-1, NBS PS 15-69 dimensional and quality controlstandards guarantee the end user a superior product.Also, as a licensed mechanical contractor, DANIELCOMPANY is uniquely equipped to install, balance,and test the performance of complete exhaust andsupply air systems. Certified technicians are proficientin training installation crews on the jobsite in FRP fieldjoining and installing techniques.DAMPERS – DANIEL COMPANY offers precisionengineered FRP butterfly and multi-blade dampersutilizing only highly corrosion-resistant parts. Stainlesssteel or FRP blade shafts with seals made up of Viton,Hypalon or EPDM are incorporated for less leakage.Leakage rates are tested using AMCA 500-Dprocedures. Worm gear operators of the pneumatic,electric or hand operated types are offered,depending on the application. Opposed blade andBackdraft Dampers are available in round andrectangular shapes. A complete line of Zero-LeakageDanELAST isolation dampers are also available forgreater isolation of process air during shutdown, andparticularly for confined space entry conditions.Long-life non-metallic bearings and custom designedbushings require minimal maintenance and ensurecontinued free movement of the blade. Zero-leakageDanELAST isolation dampers require far lessmaintenance, are more durable, and outperformconventional butterfly dampers. Dampers range fromsizes 4” diameter to 120” diameter.HoodsAdvanced Water Treatment Facility – Fountain Valley, CaliforniaCHEMICAL STORAGE TANKS –DANIEL COMPANY provides filament-woundfiberglass reinforced plastic corrosion-resistanttanks typically used for NaOCl and NaOHsolution storage. All tanks are designed to beinstalled either above or below grade, and are built per RTP-1 and ASTM D 3299 industry-accepted standards. Access ports and fill/drainnozzles are standard features included in our tanks.ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS –DANIEL COMPANY also manufactures otherequipment and components used in corrosiveenvironments typically found at water andwastewater treatment facilities. These includeDecarbonators, Hoods, Launder Covers,Weirsand Baffles, Ladders, Platforms, Fan Inlet Boxes,and a myriad of other customized productsrequested by our most valued clients.FLEXIBLECONNECTORS –DANIEL COMPANYfeatures heavy-duty flexible connectors featuringpolyester tire cord reinforced EPDM, neoprene,or Hypalon materials with 316 stainless steelretaining bands. The flexible connectors areseamless and constructed of one continuouspiece of elastomer, having an integrally moldedhollow-arched volute permitting contraction andexpansion movements. These are designed forminimal maintenance and easy removal, and areideally suited for isolating vibrations of movingcomponents such as fans from the duct system.Heavy duty “U”Type expansion joints withextruded flanges and mating steel retaining ringsare also provided for piping applications.
