Product DescriptionDEKOTEC® MTS-30 is a heat shrinkable wraparound sleeve with an electron beam irradiation cross linked polyethylene backing and a bitumen based mastic adhesive. DEKOTEC® MTS-30 is installed directly on cleaned surfaces according to St 2. No sand blasting is required. The 2-layer coating system of the DEKOTEC® MTS-30 provides the combination of an excellent corrosion protection to joints of steel pipes operating at temperatures up to +40°C (104°F) and a time saving application method. The result is an excellent bonding, simple application and remarkable cost savings. DEKOTEC® MTS-30 Shrink Sleeve is compatible with mill coatings from PE, PP, FBE, PU and Bitumen.
