It consists of a column oven anda control module. The column oven design eliminates the need fordedicated holders or inserts. The chamber is easily accessible and largeenough to accommodate a guard column and an analytical column withlength up to 40 cm. In addition an injection or switching valve can bepositioned in the heated zone.A dedicated fail-safe feature shuts down power to the heating elementupon an overheat temperature (125°C) or leakage detected by aninternal vapor sensor. The control module is equipped with an LCD displayto monitor actual temperature.
