Mixed air cooling with exterior airWhen the exterior air temperature falls below the tem-perature required inside, the deltaclima® SMART mixes the cooler exterior air with the hot discharge air from the computer center and then blows the temperature conditioned supply air into the room. The mechanical refrigeration unit will not be used.2. Free cooling with exterior airUntil the exterior air has the same temperature as the supply air, the device will be operated in the „free cool-ing“ mode while the temperature conditioned supply air is led directly into the interior. The mechanical refrig-eration unit will not be used.Four operating modes for maximum efficiency:Exterior air temperature < supply air temperature:the discharge air and cooler exterior air are mixed to create the optimum supply air temperature.Exterior air temperature = supply air temperature:Free cooling with supply of temperature conditioned exterior air.3. Active cooling with exterior airIf the temperature of the exterior air is higher than the required supply air temperature, the device actively cools down the warmer exterior air to the temperature required inside and directly discharges the discharge air to the outside.4. Active cooling with circulating airIf the ambient temperature exceeds the temperature of the discharge air, the condenser and evaporator switch their functions to blow the actively cooled discharge air into the room.
