This thermistor type vortex flowmeter uses a probe inserted in the pipeline to detect the representative flow velocity in the line to obtain the total flow information. It is therefore especifically adaptable for metering flows in large pipelines. The probe consists of the body to which a bluff bod)` containing a thermistor sensor is secured and a mounting adaptor. The mounting adaptor comes in two types: fixed probe type and hot-tap type. This insertion type is applicable to pipeline sizes 200 mm and up.
