DeltaPoint - Water Extraction Technology Vacuum System (WET) - Brochure

A DeltaPoint® Manifold paired with the WET Venturi detects leaks from cap loss. Upon detection of a leak, water flow to the weld gun shuts off to stop the leak. Water flow also is shut off during cap or gun change. Simultaneously a bypass valve opens, allowing water to travel through a Venturi, creating a vacuum on the weld lines. Excess water drains from the weld cooling lines, preventing water expulsion during cap change / maintenance. Utilization of the WET Venturi System, not only prevents water expulsion, but it eliminates residual water in the weld cooling lines from draining onto the plant floor.
