Product DescriptionDENSOLEN®-System AS50/R20HT is a cold applied two tape system for the corrosion protective coating of metal pipes and pipelines with outstanding mechanical and quality properties. An indentation resistance of =1,2mm, which is 100% higher than the required value of =0,6mm for the stress class C, as well as an impact resistance of =20J are the proof for an outstanding tape system. DENSOLEN®-System AS50/R20HT is a DIN-DVGW (Reg.-No.: NV-5180CN0381) and SASOL approved system. Standard designation: • EN 12068 – C 50 • DIN 30672 – C 50 DENSOLEN®-System AS50/R20HT is practically impermeable to water vapour and oxygen as well as resistant to soil bacteria and soil electrolyte. DENSOLEN®-System AS50/R20HT is compatible with coatings from PE, PP, FBE, PU, CTE and Bitumen. The DENSOLEN®-System AS50/R20HT consists of: DENSOLEN®-Primer HT A solvent-containing primer in accordance with DIN 30672 and EN 12068 for the corrosion protection with DENSOLEN®-tapes. Please notice separate product information. DENSOLEN®-Tape AS50 A real co-extruded 3-ply plastic tape consisting of a stabilised polyethylene backing with butyl rubber adhesive on both sides. DENSOLEN® -AS50 has a thickness of =1,1mm. DENSOLEN® -AS50 complies with international standards such as DIN 30672, EN 12068, ASTM and AWWA. DENSOLEN®-Tape R20HT A real co-extruded 2-ply plastic tape consisting of a stabilised polyethylene backing (colour white) with a butyl rubber adhesive on one side. Excellent bonding between adhesive and carrier film via co-extruded intermediate layer. The adhesive layer fully amalgamates with the outer layer of the DENSOLEN®-AS50.
