DENSOLID - FK2 - Polyurethane Hot Sprayed Coatings- Brochure
Product Information Special Advantages • Corrosion prevention for highly stressing environments • rapidly curing • low cathodic disbonding DENSOLID® FK 2Solvent- and tar-free airless-hotspray two-component polyurethane coating material for the corrosion protection of buried pipes, valves, fittings and tanks. Description Use DENSOLID FK 2 is a fast curing, solvent-free, two-component polyurethane coating material. DENSOLID FK 2 is applied to the bare steel surface by the airless-hotspray method. The cured coating fulfils the requirements of (DIN) EN 10290 (class B, type 3), DIN 30671 (class S) and DIN 30677-2 and by this is particularly suitable for the corrosion protective coating of steel pipes, valves, fittings and tanks. Outstanding feature of DENSOLID FK 2 is its extremely low cathodic disbonding. High hardness combined with good elasticity offer a high degree of resistance to mechanical damages. As corrosion protective coating for buried steel pipes, valves, tanks and fittings according to (DIN) EN 10290 (class B, type 3), DIN 30671 (class S) and DIN 30677-2. As high performance corrosion protective coating for rehabilitation of pipes, valves, tanks and fittings.Application Properties by weight 100 : 36,36 Mixing ratio (A:B) by volume 100 : 40,9 20 °C app. 120 s Pot life 60 °C app. 30 s 20 °C 90 °C tack free app. 20 min app. 2 min * Curing time stackable app. 8 h app. 10 min * substrate > 10°C; min. 3 °C above dew point mixed material 40 - 70 °C component A (recommended) 40 - 70 °C Application temperature component B (recommended) 20 - 40 °C cleanliness (ISO 8501-1) min.
