Intelligent Data Concentrator DMDC 1.2 Intelligent data concentrator DMDC 1.2 is used in the smart energetic resources (electricity, water, gas) AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) systems. PLC (Powerline communication) concentrator acts as a gateway between MDCS (Meter Data Collection System) and metering devices, it collects and stores metering data and statisctis. FEATURES ? Two way communication with meters: - PLC data transfer – three phase or one phase installation - OFDM (PRIME Standard) or DCSK PLC modulation - Up to 300 metering devices ? Communication with MDCS - Ethernet - GPRS/3G ? Runs automatic scheduled tasks and stores the data to an internal database or transfers it to MDCS ? Reports alarms and errors from meters to MDCS ? Supports meters parameterization function ? Transfers control commands and messages from MDCS to the meters ? Performs an automatic meter clock synchronization ? Performs self and meters firmware update ? Discrete I/O (may be used for the electrical cabinet security function) ?
