The key to success

"At the beginning I was dealing with sound insulation for heating systems," remembered DOYMA company founder Hans-Ullrich Ihlenfeldt. "There were no such products on the German market yet: I imported this product directly from Denmark. With success! Through careful observation of the construction sector, I recognized an unsolved problem for planners and tradesmen: the sealing of building ducts by pipelines! Such seals should be easy to install and permanently seal against moisture. We consequently developed an innovative professional system consisting of fiber cement casing and sealing insert. A permanently sealed and precisely fitting complete solution. We showed the new development in 1967 at the ISH in Frankfurt. And that was a direct hit! "
