The first step is a magneticflowmeter, letting your monitor know how much manure isbeing flowed through the applicator. The second step is asystem that monitors the speed of the tractor, width of thespread pattern and flow. By recording these factors, you willhave a constant reading of how much manure is being appliedper acre. Finally, by connecting your system to a GPS, you canproduce a reliable map of where you applied the manure on theland. With write-back capability, a printed map can be createdfor your records.Because of growing environmental concerns, Cadman alsooffers with its monitoring panel an RF control system for thesource pump at the lagoon or pit. Options include emergencystop of the engine/tractor, constant monitoring of engine RPMand pump pressure, and ability to increase or decrease engineRPM to control the pump pressure.HOW IT WORKSUsing the Cadman Hard Hose DragSystem to spread liquid manure issimple and economical. Park yourHard Hose Drag Reel in the centreof the field the manure is to beapplied in. Uncoil the hard hosepulling towards the farthest corner.Simply drag the hose back and forthacross the field until the whole fieldhas been covered.
