TYPISCHE EINSATZBEISPIELELMHS-Exzenterschneckenpumpen werden in der Umwelt-technik zur Förderung von Schlamm, bei der Schlamm-entsorgung und -verarbeitung in Klärwerken eingesetzt. Siefördern hochviskose Schlämme mit hohen Feststoffen bzw.Trockensubstanzanteilen und gashaltige Schlämme. Sie kön-nen als drehzahlgeregelte Dosierpumpen eingesetzt werden.Haupteinsatzgebiete sind neben den Klärwerken und indu-striellen Abwasseranlagen die chemische Industrie, die pa-pierverarbeitende Industrie, die Lebensmittel- und Geträn-keindustrie. Für den Einsatz in der Fischverarbeitung, auf demGebiet des Schiffsbaues und für die Lackherstellung ist diePumpe genau so gut geeignet wie für das Pumpen bei derkeramischen, kosmetischen und pharmazeutischen Industrie.Kurzum, die LMHS- Pumpe ist für alles, was schwer zu pumpenist, die Lösung. Es stehen verschiedene, dem Einsatzzweckangepasste Werkstoffkombinationen zur Verfügung.Bauart / AusführungHorizontale, selbstansaugende, trockenaufgestellte Verdrän-gerpumpe in Lagerstuhl- und Blockausführung mit Rotor undzweigängigem Stator aus Elastomer. Neben der zweigängigenStandardgeometrie ist auch eine dreigängige Geometriemöglich. Kardangelenk oder Hochdruckbolzengelenk im Ölbad,durch Manschette abgedichtet.Lagerstuhlpumpe, Pumpen und Motorwelle mit einer elasti-schen Kupplung verbunden.Blockpumpe, Pumpe und Motor zu einem Blockaggregatverflanscht.Füllpumpe, mit Trichtersauggehäuse und Zuführschneckezur Zwangszufuhr des Fördergutes bzw. auf Wunsch auch mitBrückenbrecher.LagerungBei Lagerstuhlpumpen bestehen die Lagerungen aus Rillen-kugellagern, zweireihigen Schrägkugellagern oder Tandem-Schrägkugellagern, jeweils mit Dauerfettschmierung. Auf Anfrage stehen weitere Wellenabdichtungen zur Verfügung.The pumps series LMHS has been designed to get a positivedisplacement pump with a helical rotor to decant viscousliquids with or without solids in suspension.The field of use are the waste water industrie, chemical andrelated industries, cosmetic-, pharmaceutical-, food industries.After having carried out a careful and accurate market survey,LM-Pumps decided to design and manufacture a modern ran-ge of pumps where it would be possible to change from aclose coupled pump to one with a pedestal bearing whilemaintaining the use of the same pump casing. This easy andeconomical solution has lead to the manufacturing of thecompact close coupled units which are easily installed eveninto narrow environments. The LMHS- pump is a positivedisplacement, self-priming pump with only one single rotatingshaft. The main components are the rotating part „rotor“, andthe fixed part „stator“. The steel rotor is a single threaded screwwhich, rotating inside the rubber stator vulcanized inside asteel pipe, pushes the pumped fluid from the suction to the discharge outlet through movable chambers being created bythe movement. The pumped fluid thus passes through thepump without any lamination, centrifugation or meshing of theproduct.Characteristics:The L & M - screw pump is self-priming in case of liquids suchas water, at 20° C, it is able to prime a 7 Meter column, evenat low speed. The flow rate available is obtained by taking intoaccount certain data: eccentricity, diameter of the rotor, speedand pitch. The discarge pressure independent of pump speedand pitch. They canalso pump products which contain solids in suspension,highly abrasive by modifying the diameter of the rotor. A remarkable reduction of the wear on the stator and rotor canbe obtained by decreasing the speed of the rotor.Handling the pumpOperating the pump is quite easy, but, to ensure a high efficien-cy and long lifetime, it is recommended to note the following:The pump is self-priming, but, it is highly recommended to fill the pump casing with the fluid to be pumped prior to Startup. Ensure that the suction pipe has a suitable diameter. Never run the pump dry, otherwise, the Stator may burn. Adjust the pump flow by regulating the number of revolutionsand avoid throttling the discharge port because the pumpcould vibrate. The simple, functional and modern design ofthe LMHS-Pump permits to change from a compact-bloc-mounted pump to a pedestal bearing housing version. Die Pumpen der Baureihe LMDSwerden normalerweise horizontal installiert, aber eine Instal-lation in anderen Lagen ist auch möglich. Das Sauggehäusemit dem mittig sitzenden Saugstutzen kann um 90° nachrechts oder links gedreht werden. Eine Ausführung mit polier-tem Edelstahlgehäuse ist ebenfalls lieferbar. Suitable for a wide range of liquids and thick fluids, thesepumps are used for the preparation and dosing of reagents,for milk of lime in suspension, alluminium and iron sulphates,bentonite, organic precipitants, polyelectrolite, etc. Installationis normally horizontally, but it is also possible to install thepump in other positions. The suction port which is centrallylocated and usually facing in the up-right position can berotated 90° to the left or to the right. A polished stainless steelversion is also available; it is free of any stagnation areas andit is used for sanitary or alimentary purposes. A silking stain-less steel version is suitable for the chemical industry, thepaper industry and water purification plants.
