Graham A Brown & Associates provides tools and consulting services to assist organisations in identifying their legal obligations in the areas of environmental protection and work health and safety (WHS) and evaluating compliance.Monitoring of compliance with legal requirements isrequired by the relevant Australian standards:• AS/NZS/ISO14001:2004 Environmental management systems - Requirements with guidance for use, Section 4.5.2; and• AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational health and safety management systems - Specification with guidance for use, Section 4.5.1.eComPeComP is a set of electronic checklists of Australian legal requirements imposed on businesses by environmental and work health & safety (WHS) legislation. Checklists are provided in MS Excel format.Our checklists are updated 6-monthly, or more frequently if major changes in legislation occur.The eComP checklists are designed to identify all environmental and OHS requirements included in legislation which are likely to apply to a business operating in the jurisdiction concerned. Legislation includes Acts, Regulations and Policies which have the status of legislative instruments. eComP does not aim to cover requirements which are only applicable to individuals or to public authorities.eComP does not cover permits and licences which are issued for an individual company or site, or guidelines, standards and codes of practice which do not form part of the law. GST) perjurisdiction and category per year, ie $2,200.00 for eachState’s Environment legislation and $2,200.00 for eachState’s OHS legislation. Commonwealth environmentallegislation is included with each package at no additional cost.Protocols for NSW (environment and WHS), Queensland(environment and WHS) and Victoria (environment) arecurrently maintained and are available immediately. We are happy to provide protocols for other jurisdictions on request at our standard subscription rate.eComP is a good option if your organisation needs to keep up with a wide range of detailed legal requirements.Customised Legal RegistersGraham A Brown & Associates prepare and maintain customised legal and other requirements registers for many of our clients. Legal and Other Requirements Registers are lists of applicable legislation with summaries of how it applies to the organisation and can include a wider range of requirements such as EPA licences, codes of practice, standards and other voluntary requirements that may be adopted by the company. This will generally cost $1,760.00 (incl.
