For more than 70 years, we are manufacturing centrifugal pumps and control valves for municipal and industrial use.

For generations, the independent Swiss family-run company Emile Egger & Cie SA has specialized in the design and production of high-quality centrifugal pumps for sensitive fluids with high solids content. We are producing patented pump and valve solutions as Turo® Vortex, Turo® Vortex TA Pumps for raw municipal sewage and Iris® Diaphragm Control Valves.

The entire production chain is realized in the own companies (design, research, development, production, testing). Long-living pumps for continuous operation and for solving hydraulic challenges are carried out the Egger Brand all over the world. Numerous service centers in Europe, USA and Asia guarantee customer proximity and service support.

Well-known companies use our pumping solutions and materials competence (for example the pumping station Prien Stock-Nord in Bavaria, lifting stations for the LINEG and Emschergenossenschaft, elbow propeller pumps in evaporation plants of the salt industry (KCL in Laos) or diaphragm control valves for energy optimization in sewage treatment plants.

Since then, the grandson of the founder has taken over the controls and thus secured a harmonious succession.

Owner-led enterprise since 1947

The Swiss pumping pioneer Emile Egger founded the company in 1947 in Cressier and began to manufacture immediately. Already back then, the speciality was already the pumping of fluids laden with solids and gas. Thanks to its careful, step-by-step expansion, the enterprise was able to retain its independence and has remained a family undertaking to this day. Since then, the grandson of the founder has taken over the controls and thus secured a harmonious succession.

Step-by-step internationalisation

We seek to be close to our customers – geographically, as well. Thus, in the course of the years, we have built subsidiaries in 10 European countries, Asia and North America. A network of trading partners puts us that much closer to our customers.

A corporate culture of ethical and social responsibility

Maximisation of profit has never been and is not now the focus of our decision-making. The attitude of the owner`s family is driven much more by the sense of responsibility that one of the largest work providers and teachers feels toward the canton of Neuenburg. The workplace security of the – in some cases – several generations of employees working at the company is of special concern to company management.
