Fijn stof en stofverwaaiing Er is de laatste jaren veel aandacht voor de fijn stof problematiek. Deze deeltjes komen onder andere vrij bij verbrandingsprocessen, zoals bij het wegverkeer en in de industrie. Verder kan fijn stof door verwaaiing van bodemlagen ontstaan (landbouw; op- en overslag). Tijdens de op- en overslag van stuifgevoelige stoffen kan er verwaaiing optreden. Daarnaast kunnen buiten opge-slagen stoffen verwaaien. Dit verschijnsel heet “winderosie”. Ingenia beschikt over de praktijkervaring om stofverwaaiing te beper-ken tot een acceptabel niveau. Hierbij kijken wij altijd naar de kosteneffectiviteit van de maatregelen die worden genomen. Met onze FDM software (Fugitive Dust Model) zijn wij in staat om snel en eenvoudig effecten van maatregelen te voorspellen en te toetsen aan de praktijk. We use a database with over 350 different equipment vendors, techniques and reference project in the field of air pollution control and odour abatement. We offer also services for existing control equipment, such as optimisation, capacity increase, efficiency improvement, cost reduction and trouble-shooting. We also support companies and authorities with respect to particulate matter emissions and wind erosion.Fine particulate matter & dustEmissions of fine particulate matter (e.g. PM10) and dust has been topic for several years. These dust particles are released from incineration processes like traffic and industrial processes. Dust particles can also be released via wind erosion of soil layers or storage of bulk goods. Ingenia has a broad experience with the prevention and abatement of this kind of fugitive dust emissions. We apply the Fugitive Dust Model (FDM) to forecast the efficiency of preventive measures and we are able to check if these meet the local environmental standards.
