ENOTEC was founded in 1980 by Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Fred Gumprecht in Gummersbach. Prior to this, Mr. Gumprecht worked for the American company Westinghouse Electric for five years selling Westinghouse InSitu oxygen analyzers (model 218) in Germany.

ENOTEC has been producing its own oxygen analysers based on zirconium oxide measurement technology since 1986. In 1990, the headquarters moved from Gummersbach to Marienheide. The product range has been increasingly expanded over the years, making ENOTEC a complete partner for all questions relating to emission and process analysis technology.

In recent decades, subsidiaries have been founded in the UK, USA, Singapore and Belarus.

These international ENOTEC subsidiaries and numerous international resellers guarantee our customers competent on-site support.

Development and innovation

The acronym ENOTEC stands for ENERGIE-OPTIMIZATION-TECHNOLOGY and describes the core of our activities: Increasing the efficiency of combustion processes while complying with ever-tightening emission limits.

This is why measurement and control technology from ENOTEC is becoming increasingly important for our customers.
