If it is not assembled, please use the following instruc-tions:1. INSERT BATTERY PACK 2. INSERT DATA LOGGER 3. INSTALL HANDLEPlace the cage down with the Eye-Hooks facing to the left. You will need to buy a Wireless GPRS SIM capable of transmitting GPRS signals in order to take advantage of the wireless features. NOTE * * * Make sure you tighten the antenna connector around the cable once it has been attached to the Flow Siren as this will eliminate moisture in the connection which could decrease wireless signal strength.1. CONNECT WATERPROOF SIM CONNECTOR2. CONNECT ANTENNA TO SMA CONNECTOR3. COVER ANTENNA WITH WATERPROOF SHIELDConnect the IP68 water-proof, GPRS SIM connec-tor into the monitor at PORT - SScrew the GPRS antenna into the SMA connector at PORT - AMake sure the IP68 Pro-tective shield is installed over the SMA antenna connection. The two side ports are for connecting Area-Velocity sensors, whilst the X and V ports are con-figured to handle both analog and serial sensors. The V port is specifically configured for the Vision sensor.NOTE * * When using the X or V ports, make sure you read the Sensor configuration first.1. CONNECT THE AREA-VELOCITY SENSORS TO AV1 AND AV22. When you buy a Blue-Siren product, you will also receive a password to active the Field-Siren programming software. After you download the software, double click the icon and enter the password. A series of files will expand on your computer, select the SETUP option and the program will be installed on your computer. The icon to start the software will be located under the Windows Start menu.1. DOWNLOAD the FIELD SIREN software onto your computer.2. Connect the Flow Siren to the Computer using the COMMUNICATION CABLE and the USB to SERIAL cable3. Open the Field Siren software by double clicking the icon.4. Select the Serial Communication Port that the USB is connected to - Field Siren will select this automatically. If the number stays at 0 even thought the sample rate has been set to one min-ute and you have waited at least one minute, then you may have created an error file. Ensure that the time is accurate by clicking GET TIME.
