Up to 9 special cables, each containing 144 fibres, can be installed in a single operation. For connecting, branching and distributing the cables, special joint boxes have been developed which do not affect accessibility and safety in the manholes. There is a co-ordinated range of special manhole installation components to suit the various different shapes of manhole.
