We are a young start-up originated in 2008 by one of the leading German research centre for environmental engineering Clausthaler Umwelttechnik-Institut GmbH (CUTEC). The aim is the technology transfer of innovative, well-investigated processes into the international market.

The sustainable use of resources by reduced consumption of chemicals, reduction of sludge production and less use of energy is our challenge. aquen targets the dynamic and growing international market of green energy, wastewater treatment and environmental technology.
In the beginning aquen offers three innovative product groups and scientifically funded process know-how. Products and processes have shown their superior performance in more then ten years of pilot and demonstration plant testing. Technical as well as economical advantages to competitors excel the aquen products. Patents in all leading industrialized countries protect the processes.
