FlowGuard - Model 6280 - Advanced Pressure Transmitters - Datasheet

The FlowGuard 6280 is an advanced transmitter that is designed with the user and installer in mind. The 6280 eliminates many of the problems that traditional sensors suffer from and provides as much flexibility as possible. Another feature is that it’s possible by simple configuration convert a bidirectional sensor to uni- directional by a simple menu option. To simplify the use the unit has many field selectable features such as, Unit (mBar, InchH2O and Pasc), Output (mA and Volt) and many different out put ranges, measuring range etc. To further reduce problems that many other “low cost” sensors has that use potentiometers and switches, the 6280 use display and push buttons. To further improve the already extremely accurate and long term stable sensor there is also the option auto calibration for applications where zero drift is not accepted, such in hard to reach locations. With the optional relays a simple alarm function can be achieved. The Modbus option is another feature that can create great cost reduction for many installations. Another cost saving is that bidirectional sensors can be changed to unidirectional mode. Sensor technology is based on a silicon based membrane and with capacitive technique that assures the accuracy and stability.
