Folding Auger Kit Installation Instructions

Slide the shorter Poly-Cupped Flighting section into the hopper tube of the Westfield auger. Install the bolt to attach the flighting to the motor. DO NOT overtighten the nut- tighten it just snug to the plastic hub. 2. Install the 1” stub shaft into the top of the longer Poly-Cupped Flighting section. This shaft needs to stick out about 9” from the top end. 3. Take the bolt out of the bottom of the upper section of the Poly-Cupped Flighting. 4. Slide the longer section of the Poly-Cupped Flighting into the upper tube of the Westfield auger. Guide the 1” shaft through the bearing at the top end. DO NOT set the lock collar yet. 5. Slide the cable of the bottom section into the bottom end of the upper section. (This cable helps the sections line up.) 6. Make sure the cable end is beyond the bolt hole of the upper section Reinstall the bolt in the bottom of the upper section. 7. Extend the auger, making sure the upper section of the Poly-Cupped Flighting slides down enough to join the lower section when the tubes come together. Make sure the sections are tight by pushing on the 1” shaft at the top of the auger. 8.
