With the right setting, star screens can achieve an enormous throughput. In addition, the result of each fraction can be controlled individually by regulating the speed of each of the screen decks. Unwanted light materials can be placed in such a way that optimum extraction can be performed by the optional AIRFIX windsifting system at the coarse material discharge, greatly improving the screening outcome. The STAR SELECT S 60 E from Eggersmann is available as a hybrid or a fully electronic system, both options involving low maintenance with good environmental credentials

With the mobile STAR SELECT S 60 E star screen, three fractions can be screened simultaneously, enabling maximum rates of throughput to be achieved (up to 300 m³/h depending on the material). Low downtimes and cutting sharpness are further features of the machine.
