We maintain batch integrity throughout the thermal reduction, milling, screeningand sampling processes. Also, by roasting at low temperatures, we insure against loss of material. The material is shredded to 3/4 inchand then passed through a splitter. The resulting 10% sample is burned,milled, screened, blended or melted, and sampled. The assay of the sam-ple is then applied to the weight of the entire lot.
