Founded in 1965 by Dipl.-Volksw. Herbert Gather (graduated economist), GATHER Industrie GmbH has developed from a trading company into a state-of-the-art technology enterprise with its own continuous value-added chain.

As an innovative technology enterprise, we look back on more than 50 years of experience in the manufacture and development of dosing and process pumps as well as quick connect couplings, which are used with fluids of all kinds in numerous industries, such as the chemical, pharmaceutical, medical and food industries. The range of international customers includes plant engineers, manufacturers, laboratory and research facilities as well as OEM customers.

One of GATHER’s core competences is expertise in materials in the handling of non-lubricating liquids. From A for ammonia to Z for zinc chloride – we draw on the know-how to deal with over 1000 different fluid applications. Due to our individual engineering consulting (available also on site) we guarantee process-safe and durable solutions. As a premium manufacturer of magnetically coupled gear pumps, flow meters, metering systems and quick connect couplings for pipes and hoses, the company serves numerous industries and customers, e.g. the chemical, pharmaceutical, medical and food industries. With their expert knowledge in handling non-lubricating liquids, GATHER offers solutions which enable the customer to work with process reliability and durability.

At the same time we succeed in managing the balancing act from single pieces to the production of small and large series for OEM customers. We are especially proud of our team of about 50 employees who are committed to serve our customers every day and are ready to meet the challenges of globalization.

Engineering
GATHER Industrie not only supplies standard products, but also develops completely new technical solutions according to customers‘ special requests – from the “idea up to series production”. Special focus is placed on the continuous further development of the GATHER product and technology strategy which is always geared to market and customer requirements.

Manufacturing

The precision of our components is the be-all and end-all. All core components (precision parts) are manufactured in-house in a state-of-the-art turning and milling centre. Here geometric tolerances of, for example, up to 5 µm can be manufactured reliably. The assembly of all products with subsequent commissioning/approval testing is also carried out at our location in Wülfrath – all “Made in Germany“.

Distribution
Our sales engineers and partners have extensive expertise and application knowledge and are your contacts. Either on-site at your premises or at our head office in Wülfrath. Depending on the customer-specific application and liquid to be handled, we will be happy to advise you. With the right component design as well as material and seal selection we will find your individual solution. Durable and robust.

All products and processes are subject to a quality management system (ISO 9001) that is strongly anchored in the company. The focus is placed on perfect product quality as much as on the 100% adherence to agreed delivery dates. Once a customer has decided in favour of us, it is usually: „Once GATHER – always GATHER“.

Environmental protection and environmental awareness is part of our corporate philosophy with firmly established goals. We are pleased with the successful certification and introduction of the environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2015.
