1. CONNECT BATTERYOpen the cover and snap the battery inside into the battery clip. On units powered by AC power, plug in.2. CONNECT TUBINGThe JACO compression fitting will work on hard or soft tubing.•Cut tubing squarely. (Remove burrs if hard tubing)•Insert tubing through the nut all the way to the back.•Turn the nut hand tight.If it is necessary to replace the fitting, screw the teflon-taped fitting only one turn past hand tight. 3. ADJUST FLOAT DEPTHLoosen set screw to change the depth if desired. It is not necessary to adjust depth of the liquid pipe.4. BATTERY REMINDERPut a reminder on your PM program to replace the battery according to this chart. As a guide, a single battery will provide 50 hours of continuous alarming and has a shelf life of 10 years.5.
