For ease of installation 2-3 sections of the tubes can be extended and fastened together on the ground before installing them in the bin. For best fit the final section of the tube can be fastened together inside the bin.Use a minimum of 6 self-tapping screws, evenly spaced, to secure Tubes at the top 2-1/2” steel band on the outside of the Tube.Locate the bottom of the inside Tube - this can be seen through the perforations of the Tube if it is not fully extended.Use a minimum of 6 self-tapping screws, evenly spaced, to secure Tube into the 2-1/2” steel band at the top of the inside Tube.RECOMMEND: A wrap of duct tape or a bead of silicone to seal the top of each band of the outside Tube to prevent fine grains from entering the GrainAir Tube.NOTE: Failure to screw the inside Tube band and the outside Tube band together with at each connection with a minimum of 6 self-tapping screws may cause damage to the GrainAir Tube due to side pressure on the Tube from grain flow.Help Line: 1-306-778-3338CAP ASSEMBLYINSTRUCTIONSParts in Box:1-Cap4-V-Brackets4-L-Brackets with Chain1-package 3/8x1” Short nuts, bolts, washers1-package 2” Long nuts, bolts, washersSTEP 1:Attach V-Brackets to GrainAir Tube with 3/8x1” Short Bolts spaced evenly around Tube, as shown in DETAIL A.STEP 2:Set Cap onto V-Brackets as shown in DETAIL C.STEP 3:Align L-Brackets with Chains with V-Brackets under Cap and secure with 3/8x1” Short Bolts to V-Brackets, as shown in DETAIL D.2” Long Bolts, nuts and washers are used to fasten Chain to outside of roof ring. Drill holes for support chains to the strongest part of the cap ring. See Chart on next page and Instructions for Telescoping GrainAir Tubes.STEP 2:Put on Tarp Hoop and cover with a bag or sack to prevent grain from spilling into GrainAir Tube.STEP 3:Slide assembled GrainAir Tube onto FSB100-Free Standing Base and secure to Base.
