Granulator Baby-Series - Brochure

The B06.08 granulator is designed for the granulation of small sprues. Typical applications are the granulation of CD sprues and small sprues from microinjection moulding – accordingly there are two different versions available. The granulator B06.08CD is specially designed for the granulation of CD sprues. During CD production the slightest contamination will result in a yield reduction. In order to
fulfill the high purity standards for regrind, the cutting chamber of the B Series including rotor and screen are made of stainless steel. In addition, the cutting chamber is hermetically sealed to prevent the regrind from being contaminated by incoming air or dust when  extracted by suction. It is therefore possible to use this granulator in clean room conditions, as is typical in CD production. In general during CD production, sprues are fed via flexible tube, which may be fastened directly to the granulator-cutting chamber. Connection fittings with various tube diameters are available.
