The BAT is of extra heavy construction, with a large rotor diameter providing high torque and reduced power cost. DESCRIPTION OF FURNITURES: The BAT 1600 U is equipped with 56 identical blades (40 on the rotor and 16 fixed) which can be used 4 times thanks to the multiple cutting edge design of this part. The blades can produce 150 to 500 tons per edge. It is also fitted with a screen which can work till 5 000 tons. These blades and screens are the only wearing parts of this shredder. 4. STRUCTURE OF THE BUILDING : The shredder doesn’t need any specific fixation on the ground. It is recommended to dispose the shredder on a 150mm thick reinforced concrete screed. 60 Shore Neoprene pads are supplied with the machine and need to be inserted between the frame and the concrete screed. 5. TRANSPORT : The shredder is delivered in several parts which are the main units already pre-assembled. The weight of the biggest part is 9 tons. For transportation, the machine needs to be settled in a 20” open top container. 6. INSTALLATION AND STARTING : In our offer are not included: - Installation and starting, - Electric board, - Electric cables and connections. The starting of the machine can require one of our technicians, to be planned when ordering. 7. CONTROL: An electric control can be made through a main electrical control cabinet which can be delivered as an option with the shredder. 8. GENERAL INFORMATION : - Sound level: The sound level depends directly on the kind of materials that will be processed. GRANULE SIZE: The granule size depends directly on the kind of screen which is fixed on the shredder, and this choice is up to the customer’s requirement.
