GREASOLUX – is a cartridge that slowly dissolves in water, enriched with special fat dissolvent microorganisms and enzymes. GREASOLUX cartridges are fabricated of a slowly dissolving matrix inside durable, porous netting. They are designed to be dropped into a water containing tank (grease trap, lift station, etc) by a line or rope. It con-tains environmentally–safe, naturally-occurring microbes and their enzyme secretions. The microbes are specially se-lected for their ability to break down (not just dissolve) the organic contaminants common in food preparation waste-waters and domestic water discharges generally. AppLicAtiOnSGREASOLUX is ideal for installation in grease traps, pumping stations or sewer lines experiencing odor prob-lems and/or the buildup of FOG. GREASOLUX cartridge is designed for easy mooring and retrieval via line or rope in such systems. GREASOLUX cartridge dissolves over a period between 30 to 60 days and depends on temperature, debit and flow rate of wastewater. dOSinG pROGRAmGREASOLUX cartridges is available in different sizes to meet different wastewater flow rates. GREASOLUX dozing program is selected in each case individually which depends on the cleaned wastewater discharge, fat concentration, tem-perature and pH of the wastewater, the amount of detergents in wastewater and wastewater treatment demand. Mainly we recommend to dose one - two units of GREASOLUX to one sewer line, well, grease trap or pump station. The size of the dosed cartridges mainly depends on the grease concentra-tion of the wastewater and application type.GREASOLUX has the most effective action when it is suspended as close as possible to the problem area. Further-more, one shall avoid hanging of GREASOLUX cartridges in aggressive medium: high wastewater temperature, contact with concentrated chemical agents (for example, detergents), acute pH fluctuations. In pump stations the cartridges shall not be placed in the direct wastewater flow. Moreover, the products should be suspended to such a depth, so to ensure continuous contact with water, but shall not lie on the bottom.Below you can find estimated GREASOLUX doses for wastewater pump houses, wastewater acceptance tanks and fat collectors. Also it is reasonable to use GREASOLUX in wastewater collection wells, in case of choking of pipes.
