Grit-Guard - Vortex Degritter Datasheet

PRO-Equipment, Inc. offers the most simple and efficient grit removal system to separate grit from water/wastewater streams. The PEI Vortex Degritter utilizes a forced vortex to accelerate grit separation and accumulate grit at the tank bottom for removal. A PEI PRO-MIX Submersible Thruster is positioned to facilitate the vortex flow while a pump lifts the removed grit to a GRIT GUARD Washer/Classifier. There are no mechanical drives, cross tanks, support structures, or parts to lubricate or maintain. The internal arrangement is pre-assembled for simple installation into a concrete or steel tank.
