The filtering is effected by a rotating slot screen drum. A scraper system keeps the drum free of clogging. There is a nozzle stick in the middle of the drum, with which a complete cleaning with fresh water is carried out automatically after working.The “Grobfilter” is always led along the upper sludge-water-level by an automatic height adjuster installation, because there is the sector, in which the water is cleanest. At the lowest and highest end the „Grobfilter” swings against stop buffers.
