An important element of aerosol technology is the generation of test aerosol for calibration instruments, conducting aerosol research, and developing and testing air-cleaning and air-sampling equipment. The HCTM Aerosol Atomizer 4800 series are jet-nozzle nebulizers that produce aerosols of small particle sizes by removing larger spray droplets by impaction within the atomizer. Compressed air at a supply pressure of 2.5kg/cm2 exits from an orifice at a high velocity. The low pressure created at the exit region by Bernoulli effect causes the liquid to be drawn from a reservoir into the air stream. The liquid is disintegrated into small
fine droplets through the jet orifice.
