Discover AMLD is a cutting-edge technology employing open-air fixed-path Mid-IR Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS). Its impressive resolution reaches the part-per-billion (ppb) range for both methane and ethane. The inclusion of ethane detection enhances its ability to distinguish between pipeline gas and naturally occurring biogas. The Discover AMLD system is comprised of proprietary software running on a tablet that wirelessly interfaces with the gas detection unit, GPS, and anemometer which can be easily installed or removed from a vehicle.
