The Heron MPD2i acid dosing system is used for the acidification of water to control pH. The MPD2i acidifies the water as it is pumped into a water storage tank. Accurate pH control is difficult to achieve. Long chemical reaction times are involved and a large proportion of acid is required to remove carbonates.
